Valiant Profile #2: Sarna

Hey, there. Luis, here! Last week, we got to meet our first player for Valiant, Rob Pontious, and get to know a little bit about his character, Ev’etaewayr. This week, we get to meet Paizo editor Avi and their character, Sarna!

Avi is a staff editor at Paizo Inc and occasional freelancer writer. They were brought on as a contractor during the Pathfinder Playtest and joined the editing team full-time in the summer of 2019. When they aren’t working on or playing RPGs, Avi enjoys cross-stitching, gardening, horror movies, and petting their dog. You can find them on Twitter at @legalizegoblins.

Sarna was born in Altameda and raised by their half-orc father, and they learned from a young age that being able to talk with your fists could get you out of (almost) any scrape. After spending their early adulthood working as hired muscle for some shady figures, their conscience has started to wear on them, so they’ve decided to give the hero life a try. As long as they can still make enough money to live, that is. After a fairly rough life, they want to help others in bad situations—but they’re still figuring out the bits that aren’t just running in and hitting things with a sword.
