Welcome to the Know Direction podcast network’s PaizoCon 2016 seminar coverage!

Seminar 013 – GameMastering on the Fly

GMing a Pathfinder session usually involves a great deal of preparation and myriad accouterments, but sometimes there’s just no time – your players demand a game, and you’ve got nothing. You don’t have to be a master of Improvisation to conjure gaming glory from thin air, but it helps – so come explore Zen and the Art of Gamemastery…completely naked! Gamemastering on the Fly is not only easier than you think, it can provide gaming experiences a well-prepped session does not deliver. Nicolas Logue, long time actor, improviser, and adventure designer offers a few tips, tricks and tactics for pleasing those demanding players with only a few minutes preparation in this seminar.

Ryan Costello

What started as one gamer wanting to talk about his love of a game grew into a podcast network. Ryan founded what would become the Know Direction Podcast network with Jason "Jay" Dubsky, his friend and fellow 3.5 enthusiast. They and their game group moved on to Pathfinder, and the Know Direction podcast network was born. Now married and a father, Ryan continues to serve the network as the director of logistics and co-host of Upshift podcast, dedicated to the Essence20 RPG system he writes for and helped design. You can find out more about Ryan and the history of the network in this episode of Presenting: http://knowdirectionpodcast.com/2021/01/presenting-ryan-costello/
