Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild Supports In-Store Play of the Wildly Popular Card Game

 


REDMOND, WA (September 30, 2014) – Paizo Inc., publisher of the world’s best-selling Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, and the Pathfinder Adventure Card Game(PACG), is thrilled to announce the Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild, the new Organized Play program for the PACG, launches today for retail stores, conventions, and home-play worldwide.

Season Zero kicks off with “Season of the Shackles”, an adventure on the high seas with pirates and plunder, scalawags and sea monsters. Each scenario will bring new rewards, which players of the Pathfinder Society Roleplaying Guild can use in their RPG play. Players need only to equip themselves with one of the new Pathfinder Adventure Card Game Class Decks to play in the the new PFS Adventure Card Guild.

Retailers in the US who sign up for the Pathfinder Society Adventure Card Guild will receive a free copy of Pathfinder Adventure Card Game: Skull & Shackles Base Setfor their store ($59.99 MSRP). Further, each week Paizo will release a new gameplay scenario, free to local game stores who have registered. Scenarios will subsequently be released for convention and home play after a period of retail exclusivity.

Ryan Costello

What started as one gamer wanting to talk about his love of a game grew into a podcast network.
