Parim dumps wisdom on rogues? Hoo boy, you’re already playing the Hardmode class, now you’re doubling down on one of its biggest weaknesses? I both respect and fear for you, friend.
Shifter archetypes are interesting. Sometimes, for comedic effect. The fiendish shifter, with all of its dedication to evil, is still RAW required to revere nature to maintain its abilities.
Oozemorph is, thematically, the thing that I’ve wanted in this game since I started playing it 3 years ago. Sadly, its a rules nightmare. The ooze form is written to be as crippling as possible, and you’re basically only able to adventure for a couple hours per day at early levels, which has dashed my hopes of this being legal for PFS since stuff like this tends to not be allowed. But the funniest part? The Oozeform is a (Su) ability, and according to some sleuths you can ‘fall’ by teaching druidic to a nondruid to lose all of your Su abilities. Basically your shape shifting, but also the oozeform, so you ‘cure’ yourself while keeping Morphic Weapon, the DR, and the ability to squeeze through tight spaces. Hell, check the Paizo forums, you’ll see the folks really picking this archetype apart. Also, while YOU CAN’T USE MAGIC ITEMS IN OOZE FORM, it does qualify you for the Extra Item Slot feat, which allows for some fun visuals. Ooze infested armor, anyone?
All of that said, the free stats can be pretty rad. Enhacement bonuses from lesser aspects that last for “your combats for the day” are really nice, and you can’t forget the free strength from wild shape as well. It doesn’t make up for the lack of variety or the fact that the druid makes you look like a fool in comparison, but it’s something.
