There have been several books along the lines of the book that Jacobs pitched in D&D history. He would have to be willing to not include all of the things:
Aurora’s Whole Realms Catalog. (Forgotten realms stuff book that gave a little bit of setting with every category)
Poor Wizards’ Almanac 1-3 (stats heavy, gave a year by year list of world events)
Joshuan’s Almanac (A more in setting of the PWA)
Leaves From the Last Home vols 1-4 Dragonlance books of setting: poems poetry and culture information. Each of which contains a chapter of cookbook.
Adventurer’s Guide to Eberron
Player’s Guide to Eberron
One of these was a 96 page overview of the setting, no deep dive. The other was a 128 pg coverage with a lot more depth .
I wish I was more all the ball would have asked so many Daemon related questions.
