Every week, Now You Know recaps the Know Direction content of the past week, previews the Know Direction content of the week to come, and shares the thoughts on the state of the network from the director of operations, Ryan Costello.
Other than our livestreams, most Know Direction’s content starts on the site and then gets shared. We’ve dabbled in content exclusive to social media, but most of it lost steam quickly. Most, but not all.
One stalwart example of Know Direction social media content is Hero Forge Tuesdays, which has been going strong since 2020. Every week, Alex Augunas builds and shares a Hero Forge miniature. At first they were simply fun designs he enjoyed. Over time, themes emerged. For a while he based his designs and colour choices on the various pride flags. After that, he turned Know Direction staff into iconic Pathfinder 2e classes. He’s almost wrapped that theme up, in fact, having started working on the cast of Intrepid Heroes.
Well, all good things must come to an end. Hero Forge Tuesday is no more. Instead, starting this week, you can look forward to Hero Forge Friday! That’s right, between regular podcast and article releases and Patreon content, Tuesdays have been busy with social media shares. Fridays, on the other hand, have more space for this kind of content. So Hero Forge Tuesday is reborn.
If you haven’t seen Alex’s miniatures, look up #heroforgetuesday on Facebook and Twitter. He has a Pro account, so as Hero Forge added more features, his builds evolved.
Speaking of Network content, here’s a recap of the podcasts and blogs from last week at the Know Direction Network:

Now You Know – Feedback Flashback
By Ryan Costello
Inspired by listener JoeCold on Discord, I revisited classic network podcast, the Gamer’s Guide To Pathfinder.
Tuesday, March 22nd
While my interest in Book of the Dead is pretty low, it was interesting to hear a deep dive into options for non-undead (I don’t want to say “living” because what is life?) PCs, and it’s always fun listing to Mark Seifter let loose.
Eldritch Excursion – The Finer Swings In Life
By Nate Wright
I deeply believe that the more minute the topic of Eldritch Excursion, the better the wordplay Nate comes up with for the title. Take for example The Fine Swings In Life, an article about rules for swinging on ropes and the like in Pathfinder.
