Recall Knowledge – Regularly Scheduled Network Content

Every week, Recall Knowledge recaps the Know Direction content of the past week, a preview of the Know Direction content of the week to come, and the director of operations, Ryan Costello, thoughts on the state of the network.

Let me start this week’s Recall Knowledge by once again thanking all of our guests from the Guest Blogger Takeover over the last two weeks: Rob LundeenScott Gladstein, Violet Gray, Christopher Rondeau, Scott D Young, Pete Zupan, Beth Breitmaier, Dr. W Brian Lane, Sam “Jet-Black Nova” N, Justin Bell, GM Steve of Recall Knowledge (no relation), and Quinn Murphy.

Guest Blogger Takeover has become one of my favourite annual traditions. I love getting to know the people behind the names and faces who are shaping the community through their contributions, and seeing what they care about.

Speaking of network traditions, next I want to thank Randal Meyer for his latest Randal Reads series. We give the hardcovers a lot of attention on the podcast, but with such depth and density of options, and with different content appealing to different people in different ways, Randal’s fine toothed reflection is always appreciated.

Third, Luis Loza previous had three contributions on Week 1 and none on Week 2. Because of the recent wraps on a number of longtime KD blogs, we’ve moved Monstrous Physique to Week 2. Additionally, due to circumstances beyond their control, Luis and Loren were unable to record this week’s Legend Lore. To fans who love all the Week 1 Luis Loza content on, I’m afraid this week’s a little light. Light, but not entirely Luisless!

With both the latest Guest Blogger Takeover and Randal Reads wrapped, we return to some semblance of normal content releases.

Speaking of network content, here’s a preview of what’s to come this week from the Know Direction Network.

Ryan Costello

What started as one gamer wanting to talk about his love of a game grew into a podcast network. Ryan founded what would become the Know Direction Podcast network with Jason "Jay" Dubsky, his friend and fellow 3.5 enthusiast. They and their game group moved on to Pathfinder, and the Know Direction podcast network was born. Now married and a father, Ryan continues to serve the network as the director of logistics and co-host of Upshift podcast, dedicated to the Essence20 RPG system he writes for and helped design. You can find out more about Ryan and the history of the network in this episode of Presenting: http://knowdirectionpodcast.com/2021/01/presenting-ryan-costello/
