PaizoCon Online 2026 is behind us and we at the Know Direction Network couldn’t be happier with how it went. We’d like to extend our thanks to everyone who made PaizoCon Online 2026 possible.
Thanks start with Paizo, for trusting us with their convention and handing over the keys to their Twitch channel. The relationship between Paizo and the Know Direction Network dates back to the days before the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game alpha playtest, and it’s nice that both sides are still benefiting from that shared history.
Next, I’d like to thank the Know Direction staff. Alex and Rob were a huge help on screen. They brought not just energy to their seminars but expertise. PaizoCon panels have always targeted an informed audience, and that means hosts really need to know their stuff. Being in charge of the crunchy day 2 Starfinder and Pathfinder product panels, Alex and Rob showed why they were the perfect hosts. Behind the scenes, James and Randal helped me figure out the technical side of producing a stream. I also need to thank Perram. The specter of my old co-host’s advice made relearning OBS much easier.
And then there are our panelists. There’s a huge difference between wanting to put on a virtual convention and it actually coming together. Our panelists made PaizoCon Online 2026. They channeled their passion for these games we all love, and were generous with their time and energy. This extends to the planning phases as well. Scheduling the seminars could have been like herding cats, but because everyone was excited to participate my job was not just easier but a joy.
Finally, thank you to everyone who attended. My biggest fear was that, because I was too busy organizing the convention to promote it, no one would know to show up. Instead we averaged 100 viewers per stream, with an active chat adding to the conversation.
If you were unable to attend, I plan to release the VODs and audio weekdaily, in chronological order, starting June 1st. In the meanwhile, if you are looking for a specific panel, here are the timecoded links to the two streams:
Day 1
Day 2
Now you know,
Ryan Costello.
