ONLINE CONVENTION DEDICATED TO ALL THINGS PAIZO *NOT* CANCELLED

Monday, May 1, 2026, Kirkland, QC: The Know Direction Network of gaming podcasts and blogs will officially host PaizoCon Online 2026.

Earlier this year, Paizo announced that, due to a variety of factors, their annual convention of Pathfinder and Starfinder focused gaming and seminars would not take place this year. Shortly after, the Know Direction Network reached out to Paizo about the possibility of hosting the event for them.

The two parties have officially come to an agreement. PaizoCon Online 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 23nd and Sunday, May 24th, 2026, two of its originally planned dates.

Seminars

Although guest participation is still being confirmed, there will be nine seminars streamed live over the Official Paizo Twitch channel from 3:00 PM Pacific (6:00 PM Eastern) until 7:00 PM Pacific (10:00 PM Eastern) on the 23rd, and 3:00 PM Pacific (6:00PM Eastern) until 6:00 PM Pacific (9:00PM Eastern) on the 24th. These streams will later be released as podcasts and videos on Know Direction’s convention feed and YouTube channel, respectively.

The schedule will be announced as soon as it’s finalized.

Socializing

Pathfinder and Starfinder enthusiasts will get an opportunity to chat on the Paizo Events Discord Server. This is the same server Paizo has used in the past for its online conventions. It will once again serve as the social hub for PaizoCon Online.

Gaming

The Organized Play Online region already stepped up and scheduled a virtual gaming convention, Bridging The Gap 2026, from Friday May 22nd to Monday May 25th, 2026 when PaizoCon Online 2026 was originally cancelled.

While Bridging The Gap 2026 and PaizoCon Online 2026 are distinct, overlapping events, the planners of both events have worked out an agreement to work together where possible. Most significantly, PaizoCon Online 2026’s seminars do not begin until after Bridging The Gap 2026’s Saturday and Sunday multitable special events are scheduled to end.

Know Direction and PaizoCon

This is not the first time the Know Direction Network has worked with Paizo on PaizoCon. Since 2010, Know Direction has released audio of PaizoCon seminars to fans who couldn’t attend, leading to the network’s slogan “We Con When You Can’t”. Gradually they added video recordings to their releases, eventually hosting streams in person at PaizoCon 2019. In 2020, when Paizo announced that PaizoCon would be canceled due to the pandemic, Know Direction offered to produce live streams for a fully virtual version of the event. This turned into the original PaizoCon Online.
