This should be the last editorial about the Know Direction podcast return rollout for a while.
As I’ve discussed previously, the plan for KD’s return had four weekly uploads to YouTube —an editorial/fun video, an interview, a fireside chat, and a compilation of all three— as well as a monthly podcast upload to the RSS feed. The plan was also to relaunch in August, which it sort of did with the the Luis Loza Shinning Kingdom interview. To catch up to the rest of the plans, already in progress, I speed runned (sped run? speed ran?) through the August and September episodes. Now that they’re both fully available here and on YouTube, the path is clear for October’s content.
Yes, this Wednesday, October 1st, you’ll get Other Ways To Play Pathfinder, a video about the games other than the Pathfinder RPG that let you play in the world of Golarion. The second Wednesday of the month, October 8th, will be my interview with Jason Bulmahn and Joe Pasini about Pathfinder Quest, a cooperative adventure board game currently crowdfunding on Backerkit. The 15th will be a fireside chat with someone in the community, although I haven’t finalized my guest yet. That leaves the 22nd for the compiled episode.
Wait, and a 29th…
That’s right, we’ve already reached a month with five Wednesdays. That means some kind of bonus episode. But what?
What kind of content would you like for the 5th Wednesday of October?
- A Halloween one-shot.
- A streamed episode with KD staff, similar to our holiday parties.
- I only have two ideas.
- I guess I thought a third idea would come to me as I typed.
So I turn to you, Know Direction fans. Of the many ideas listed above, what kind of content would you like to see on October 29th?
