I’d argue that Charisma classes like Sorcerer and Bard will have excess RP to cover healing. Running chapter 2 without a cleric right now, but they do have a primal sorcerer, so we’ll see how it goes!
If you want to get rid of healing-requirements then they should use something like Starfinder’s Stamina system. I never want the happy stick back.
