Valiant Profile #4: Xiadani

Hey, there. Luis, here! Last week, we got to our next player for Valiant, Owen K.C. Stephens, and get to know a little bit about his character, Seren. This week, we get to meet our final player, freelancer writer Jessica Redekop and her character, Xiadani!

Jessica Redekop is a freelance illustrator and game designer, working for Paizo, Lost Spheres Publishing, and Storm Bunny Studios. She loves cats, gaming, and Planescape, and can be found on both Twitter and Instagram as @tectonomancer.

Xiadani, aasimar human druid. Art by Sheppi Rodriguez.

Xiuh couatls lay only a single, ash black egg in their lifetimes, and for some xiuh couatls an aasimar is hatched instead of couatl children, ending their familial line. Xiadani, like her couatl mother, is an omen of imminent destruction. A shapeshifting wanderer accustomed only to the company a giant lizard she calls The Doctor, Xiadani blows into towns like a rainbow tempest, rooting out the evils and corruption “civilization” brings with it — bankers and bureaucrats, especially — then disappears before she has to reckon with any consequences.
