I’m actually a guy organizing PFS games in Lincoln, Nebraska. We’ve only met a few times (we only just started in September!) If the chatter who asked about Lincoln Nebraska wants to email me, I can give directions on the next time we meet.
Perrem, did you really make them figure out all the mechanics for their characters in just one session? Or did they just have to come up with a character concept in one session?
I ask because I ususally spend at least a month planning my PFS characters, and those are much less of a commitment.
Bardwannabe – Yeah, they created their characters and were ready for play by the end of the night. I do allow a bit of a grace period to make changes to characters for the first few sessions, and our Occultist player had to take advantage of that once he figured out some of the mechanics he was fuzzy on.
But I usually don’g spend too much time planning characters out beyond the few hours of actually working them onto a character sheet.
