Know Direction 73 – Rogue Ronin

    Know Direction 73 – Late November 2013

The Pathfinder RPG third party publishing landscape changed forever recently when Owen KC Stephens left Super genius games to form Rogue Genius Games and also joined Green Ronin as its Pathfinder developper. Owen and Green Ronin publisher Chris Pramas join us to discuss the moves, the state of third party publishing, and their Advanced Bestiary Kickstarter

    Know Questions

    With special guest Brian Darnell!

Perram Asks: What options do you have running games for a player that has already played /everything/?!

    Paul Doell asks via e-mail

I’m all for giving my players choices in their campaign.  What are your favorite 3rd party character classes that I should add to my pathfinder game?

    Time Thief (Rogue Genius Games)

The Godling Bundle (Rogue Genius Games)

    White Necromancer (Kobold Press)

    Mosaic Mage (Rogue Genius Games)

jchapman asks on the forums at 35privatesanctuary.com

A Tengu Ranger (Natural Weapon) with the Claw Attack alternate racial trait has 2 primary attacks (bite, 2x claw) available. Can both be used as part of a full attack, meaning 3 attacks? Or is it either/or?

If I took the Aspect of the Beast (Claws of the Beast) feat, which adds 2 Claw attacks, am I now looking at Bite/Claw/Claw/Claw/Claw? These are listed as primary attacks as well, getting full BAB.

Know Question: Now that we know all of the classes in the Advanced Class Guide, which has you excited the most, and why?

Finally, Tyler Gemuenden asked a PFS Know Question (sort of) via the Know Direction Facebook page:

Know question: i’m running society modules at home with my group.

(We are not using society rules and are not playing for credit, just using the short adventures.)

We started in season 0 and are still running those. My question is: can you give a suggested order to play the scenarios and/or the metaplot layout? Is there a list somewhere I can peak at?

Before Perram joined Know Direction as the show’s first full time co-host, the podcast could have best been describe as a bunch of Pathfinder RPG stuff. Perram brings a knowledge of and love for Golarion to Know Direction, something any Pathfinder podcast is lacking without. On top of being a man on the pulse of the Pathfinder campaign setting, Perram is the founder of the superlative site for Pathfinder spellcasters, Perram’s Spellbook, a free web application that creates customized spell cards.
