Every week, Recall Knowledge recaps the Know Direction content of the past week, a preview of the Know Direction content of the week to come, and the director of operations, Ryan Costello, thoughts on the state of the network.
Let’s step out of the fantasy worlds we know and love for a second and acknowledge a harsh reality: Tomorrow is the day of one of the biggest elections in US history and the results affect everyone in the Know Direction Network personally, emotionally, and empathetically. I may be Canadian, but even disregarding the political ramifications this election has on my country, I’m also human. I empathize with what three of the last four years have meant for my American friends, and I am horrified with how the last year has played out.
The United States can not afford another minute of a Donald Trump presidency, and all signs indicate that basically the entire country is worse off for the four they’ve gotten so far.
Even the ideal election results could be followed with chaos and uncertainty. We’ll try to put out all of our schedule content this week, but we’re only human.
Speaking of Know Direction content, here’s a recap of what you might have missed last week from the Know Direction Network:
Recap of October 26th to October 30th
What happened last week on knowdirectionPodcast.com and twitch.tv/knowdirection?
Monday, October 26th
Our experience with War for the Crown 2: Songbird, Scion, Saboteur has been a series of interesting but loosely connected events. Now we’ve gone almost full circle, geographically and storywise, and I can see the goal line in sight.
Tuesday, October 27th
Stealth was one area of Pathfinder 1e that saw the rules get overhauled, so if you’re a legacy player getting tripped up remembering which rules go with which edition, stealth is that much more likely to trip you up. Luckily Luis and Loren spotlight the tricky areas and give a ground-up explanation of stealth in 2e.

Hey, remember Halloween? If you were looking for a good one-shot to scare your friends, Dustin recommended spooky 1e, 2e, and Starfinder adventures for you to look into.
Wednesday, October 28th
Over the summer we had to cancel an episode of KD at the last minute, which I always hate doing. I was especially unhappy to do it this time since our scheduled guest, Battle of the Pantheons winner Connor Young, stayed up past midnight his time to be on the episode.
I later recorded an interview with Connor which we’re finally releasing as an episode of Presenting. And I think it’s worth the wait.
Guidance: Discord in my Teenaged Wasteland
By Alex Augunas
In all the talk about online gaming and virtual tabletops, chat programs to coordinate the group have been overlooked. Alex does a great job outlining how Discord can elevate your online game.
Thursday, October 29th
Valiant’s such a great show, and this episode contains my favourite moment: Owen’s character Seren getting frustrated with how little damage his shots are dealing and then doing something about it.
Investing In: Seasons
by Rob Pontious
Rob talks about Seasons, an RPG about meddling in the affairs of fey. Surprisingly political affairs.
Friday, October 30th
Jason Tondro’s first appearance on Beyond is a memorable one. A lot of insight into what inspires the Starfinder Adventure Paths and how the Starfinder team develops them. He also teases some interesting upcoming Starfinder products.
Monstrous Physique — Jack, the Pumpkin King (PF2E)
By Luis Loza
With Jack Skellington stated out as a level 11 creature for Pathfinder 2e, you can be like the real heroes of A Nightmare Before Christmas: the military who shoot down the monster delivering mimics to people’s homes!
