Now You Know – Post PaizoCon 2022 Program Note

Every week, Now You Know recaps the Know Direction content of the past week, previews the Know Direction content of the week to come, and shares the thoughts on the state of the network from the director of operations, Ryan Costello.

What’s in store for Know Direction now that PaizoCon 2022’s behind us?

Seminar coverage: As is tradition, we’ll be hosting audio recordings of the PaizoCon Online seminars. Note that this year, PaizoCon featured online and in-person seminars. However, the in-person seminars were designed to be more intimate and conversational, and it was suggested we not record them. So we’ll be releasing the 17 news- and product-related seminars that streamed over Paizo’s Twitch channel, in order, starting probably Thursday.

Pre-Recorded Know Direction: Instead of a live episode of Know Direction airing tonight, Paizo Lost Omens developer Luis Loza and PaizoCon 2022 guest of honour Vanessa Hoskins (a.k.a. Know Direction’s hosts) recorded an episode on Sunday, reflecting on their PaizoCon experiences. This releases Wednesday.

A Third Thing: I really thought I had three things to say related to PaizoCon 2022 network content.

Speaking of network content, here’s a recap of the Know Direction Network content from last week:

Now you know,

Ryan Costello

Ryan Costello

What started as one gamer wanting to talk about his love of a game grew into a podcast network. Ryan founded what would become the Know Direction Podcast network with Jason "Jay" Dubsky, his friend and fellow 3.5 enthusiast. They and their game group moved on to Pathfinder, and the Know Direction podcast network was born. Now married and a father, Ryan continues to serve the network as the director of logistics and co-host of Upshift podcast, dedicated to the Essence20 RPG system he writes for and helped design. You can find out more about Ryan and the history of the network in this episode of Presenting: http://knowdirectionpodcast.com/2021/01/presenting-ryan-costello/
